Alex has pegged his spot for the moment. Good thing he moves before Carlos comes up. Usually, Alex starts on the floor, then comes up when the room cools down. All that fur keeps him warmer than the rest of us!
Romping with the cat. One is always following the other!

Finn is patiently waiting for me to throw the stick. This is a bit trickier in the small home yard-on the hill-in the snow, than it is at the park! He got a couple throws in, but mostly had to wait until Sunday at the park. We made up for it this morning! It was too cold to take the camera though - 8 degrees does not make you want to take off gloves for pictures!
Run, boys! RUN!!!

Friday, Jan 21 - snowed last night and the dogs are crazy with excitement. I was off Friday, so brought over Gregor and Finn for play time before dark. You can see that Carlos, Gregor and Alex were having a great time dashing on the hillside in the snow. Sorry, I missed the shot where Gregor dumped Alex off the rock wall. He rolled over in the snow, shook himself off and went right back to dodging through the trees and bushes!

January 20 - Big day for the President and a big day for me. This is my birthday. Does this mean I only "age" every four years? Sounds good to me! I tried to find a current, complimentary picture, but will have to wait until I (hopefully) get my HP812 returned this weekend. Then we will try a for a new updated shot. Today is filled with good things, best being a day off from work. YIPPEEE! I have to go soon, take Kit to the vet. He was my self-birthday-present in 2001. Time for his annual check up and shots. Plans to get the car cleaned inside and out, and get a manicure/pedicure. A haircut would be a plus! Guess I better get the shower in first! More to follow -

Temperature is going down fast tonight. 39 now, with a low of 28 tonight. Alex doesn't care, he has all that extra coat! Hopefully, it will slow down the rain and the flooding!

Kit's place to watch from (and sleep in) this week -
Have you ever seen such an eager fellow? Tuesday night, Gregor and Finn came to play for a bit. I think they all had a good time. What do you think? It is warm for January - 64 degrees tonight. The rivers are high and there is much flooding. Our back yard is slippery on the hill. I got home before dark tonight so I could do potty duty. Almost slipped on my behind! It is supposed to get VERY cold this weekend. At least I can stop mopping for a day or two.

Tuesday night, raining and 46 degrees. Alex is getting practice standing on the rug and getting dried off as he comes in from outside. This is one more thing that Carlos can teach him. Carlos is GREAT about stopping, laying down and letting me clean off his feet.
