All clean and mostly dry :)

We don't have a dryer, but he puts up with the brushing well. :)
Alex was 8 in March. Seeing a lot of gray this time. He is still an
agreeable lad, good to his cat and me.

Alex's summer bath

Independence Day here! Thank you to all who saw ahead into the future and brought us to this place and time and land that is open and ready for just about anything!

Alex's annual bath today. It was just too perfect, I needed one, he needed one and even the hose water is only just cool, not cold. :)  Amazing how skinny he looks without all that hair bushing about.

Spring walk to the Incline!

 I grew up in Michigan, not sure I would even know how to turn the air on in March!

Alex turned 8 a couple of weeks ago. He is still full of life, although moving a bit tired this morning.  I think he does not like the heat and he is not sure why I am home, messing with his nap time! LOL

Alex got a back yard brushing this morning. He  really needs a full blow out, but this will do for now.  Maybe more later.

First vacation Alex has missed in years!

During January, I visited Placenca, Belize with my cousin and her family. It has been a long time since I have had adult vacation with no pets. Course, there was a GSD there, Rocky. She helped us all over the canine withdrawal.

Record Setting 85 in Cincinnati Sunday!

Rain yesterday, heat today! Everything is growing at what seems record rates!

Bleeding hearts are forming, hostas popping out, Alex would (as always) rather be in the shade - or the dayllillies!

New behavior - taking the family to bed!

Alex has started to really impress HIS preferences this week... he came in about 9:00 last night and let me know pretty clearly that he was ready to go to bed. He also refused to go by himself, but gave me that great Belgian grin when I said OK, go on up!

It was so successful, he tried again tonight. Perhaps he knows better - since Daylight Saving time is here and I need to get up earlier? So why is he asleep now and I am up, watching the 11 news and posting? I really was tired before!

Alex will be 7 years old next month. He is still a healthy looking Terv.

He has been neutered now since November 2009 - but no obvious coat changes. :)
