On our way back to the car, we found the only daffodil in the big field. Is this the first of the season?

Alex kept his nose down most of the time through the woods. All the new smells were keeping him VERY BUSY!

See the first tufts of green peeking out? It has been warm in January and Mother Nature is really trying to come out of her winter hiding.

It was a beautiful day, Alex and I walked in Mt Echo Park. After we came out the woodsy path, we investigated the tennis courts. What a perfect (fenced) place to practice for the obedience ring! 

It is really only January, but this cherry tree is trying very hard to tell us Spring is coming!

Alex and I met Julie, Brooke and others this morning at Queen City Dog Training to help clean the building. Brooke's Paris (shown here) is looking VERY handsome!!
